Summary
A precursor to Warcraft 3, it follows a
likely scenario after the closing of the 2nd dark portal
involving Arthas Menethil , Jaina Proudmoore and Garrosh Hellscream ,
the plot it told from both the orc and human perspective.

Critique
This Back-story takes place after Warcraft
2(WC2), and a few years before Warcraft 3(WC3), with a good take on an alternate
scenario of history involving a few main
characters in WC3,
He follows the canon in the early history
well, and is consistent with the tone of the characters and their likely
thoughts and actions.
It involves a lot of accurate thought
patterns of each side, humans and orcs, and does give character depth to
Arthas, and what other characters think of him.
Summary
A funny scenario set a year after the
Avengers movie; the Avengers crew has a get together for some gift exchanging involving
hoodies given to Tony Stark and Steve Rogers by the two assassins
Critique
I thoroughly enjoyed the piece, although it
does have a hint of homosexual feelings, possibly because of the authors’ love
of these two characters. The humor is
easy to understand, and is more for somebody who has seen the film, to
understand the context
Summary
Drizzt ‘Do’Urden is mourning the loss of the Dwarves of Mithral
Hall when they were routed by the host of Orcs on the plains nearby. Although he is an excellent hunter and
tracker, he does not wish to go to the scene to find out whether or not what he
already believes is true, so he grieves in one of the only way he knows how, by
killing the band of orcs that brought him misery.
Critique
A very well written piece set in the same
style of writing that R.A Salvatore himself would use, it almost feels like an
extract from the book, and not a fan fiction. It plays upon my emotions well
because I am familiar with the character and know the relationship that he has
with the dwarves.
Summary
Set in the aftermath of season one of
Gundam: 00 this story is written based on the question: What if Feldt was a mobile
suit pilot? Feldt is desperate as she uses her mothers Gundam to search for any
traces of the combatants after the last major battle and to continue the legacy
of Celestial Being.
Critique
The first chapter has a lot of emotions to
it but I feel as if it focuses too much on Feldt’s emotion, we get that she is
sad and desperate, we don’t need to have
it plainly spelt out and repeated every few sentences. The second chapter
doesn’t do a very good job of clearly describing the setting, and plot-wise, it moves slower than a snail, but reinforces
the tension between the two characters that has been evident throughout all of
season 1.
Summary
A story of fighting against Rome, told from
the point of view of a tribesman, and
the life of a slave who refuses to bow down to Roman superiority.
Critique
I very much enjoyed this piece, as it
follows the tale of a hero, or an antihero if viewed through the eyes of the
Romans. Itching for an update to this chapter and see it possibly turn into an
epic battle, rather than just an arena duel, the budding romance between slaves
and an eventual climatic battle between the roman commander and the slave.
